Bike and Hike Bhutan (with Bumthang Owl’s Trek) is our exclusive offering designed to give you an unparalled experience to discover Bhutan – our culture, nature, its people and the Bhutanese way of life, all on the thrills of riding your bike. On this tour we invite you on a road of self-discovery as you pedal through the scenic valleys of Bhutan starting from Paro in western Bhutan all they way to the cultural heartland of Bumthang valley. After exploring most of the cultural highlights along the way and then leave the bikes back and hike on the Bumthang Owl’s trek before taking the domestic flight back to Paro to visit the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
Every stop is laden with attractions that will enliven you senses and will leave you with an indelible feeling of having ridden through the soul of Bhutan. The tour is designed to cater to a rider with basic endurance and skills and will be supported by our experienced MTB guides who is considered one of the best riders in Bhutan and with a sweeper team of mechanics and support truck.

Welcome to Bhutan – Arrival.
Mountain Biking around the capital city.
Ride from Thimphu to Punakha
Punakha sightseeing, crosscountry riding, and rafting.
Ride Punakha – Gangtey (29000m) (86km; approx 7 hrs)
Phobjikha Valley Rides
Biking Exploration to Tangsibje village.
Tangsibje to Chumey
Chumey Valley – Tharpaling Goenpa- Ride into Bumthang (Amazing!!)
Cultural sightseeing rides in Bumthang
Start of Bumthang Owl trek. Menchugang to Dhur Village.
Dhur Village to Dragela pass hike.
Drangela pass to Tharpaling monastery.
Domestic flight to Paro and Sightseeing.
