About this property
The Paro valley is where almost every trip to Bhutan begins and ends. The country’s only international airport sits on the valley floor beside the Pa Chhu, the dzong and the old town stand a couple of kilometres upstream, and the cliff that carries Taktsang rises out of the pines further up. It is a wide, flat, farmed valley, unusually gentle by Bhutanese standards, and one of the few places in the country that is genuinely good for walking.
