About this property
Most Thimphu hotels sit in the city; this one sits beside the river. Terma Linca occupies a stretch of the Wang Chhu at Babesa, at the southern end of the valley, where the water runs fast and the capital is far enough off to be forgotten. The centre of town is a short drive up the expressway.
The setting does most of the work — the river on one side, the valley walls on the other — and it suits guests who would rather come back to somewhere quiet after a day of dzongs and markets. It also makes an easy first stop for anyone driving in from Paro, since the road up from the airport reaches this end of Thimphu first.
